About Us
the dream of building something lasting—one stitch at a time.
Lei was born from the quiet winter days in Berlin, a time when I needed a creative escape. As an architect turned graphic designer, I found myself drawn to crochet—a simple, calming craft that brought warmth to long evenings. What started as a way to make gifts for friends and family slowly turned into something bigger.

In May 2024, I decided to take my handmade pieces to Berlin’s flea markets. It was a small step, but the response was incredible. Seeing people appreciate the work and connect with the story behind each piece encouraged me to turn this hobby into something more.

Today, Lei is a collection of handmade bags, cardigans, beanies, and accessories—all created with care and intention. I strive to use natural and high-quality materials, while also offering vegan options to ensure everyone can find something they feel good about. Sustainability is a core value, and many of the pieces are crafted from recycled yarns, blending beauty with responsibility.

At the heart of Lei is a commitment to collaboration and community. I work with women artisans in Turkey, offering them fair opportunities to contribute their skills and creativity. Together, we create pieces that carry stories of empowerment and tradition.

Lei is my way of celebrating the beauty of handmade craftsmanship and the importance of thoughtful living. Every stitch reflects a belief in creating something meaningful—something that lasts.
